The name Floraiku is a mix between Haiku and flowers. Inspired by the evocative power of haiku—the three line Japanese poetic form known for ability to evoke emotions and imagery, Floraiku explores how scent can be meditative and healing, anchoring you in the present moment.

Our goal is to provide a sensory pleasure and poetic lifestyle at the hotel where customers can mobilize all their five senses to experience Japanese culture and seasonal hands-on activities, let their mind embrace the nature-centered aesthetic here.

Moving Image Museum exists to expand public understanding and appreciation of the art, history, technique and technology of film, television, and digital media by collecting, preserving, and providing access to moving-im- age related artifacts via multimedia exhibitions and educational programming.

With the development of our brand, we feel the need to update the existing style. We did many works to keep the brand recognizable, but add a new perspective.

Our unique identity, fresh systems and stationery create a distinct framework for our brand which helps us to stands out from art world.

Test card is a television test signal, it allows vendors, viewers and television stations to adjust their equipment for optimal functionality.

We hope the existence of the Moving Image Museum, like the test card, is to test the infinite potential of the multimedia world.

The logo design refers to the system of test card. We try to express “m, i, m” through geometric figures. The spacing between each rectangle is equal. The dot of i is obtained by cutting the rectangle below and trans lating it upward, so it is the same size as the negative space below.

The color of the logo, the dazzling pure lime green, is extracted from the test card. The green represents a strong sense of future and illusion.

No Place Like Home

What makes us feel at home? I’ve often wondered whether it is the walls around us, the treasured objects we acquire, or the memories that accumulate over time. Having grown up in multiple cities, I rarely felt at home in one place.

Throughout the beginning of the year, I have explored how the concept of “home” evolves from childhood to adulthood, and how it can transcend physical boundaries to become an emotional and personal experience. I have learned via discussions, polls, and artistic experimentation that home is more than just a geographical location; it’s an emotional experience influenced by our connections, memories, and aspirations. This project asks you to consider your definition of home, how you picture it, and how you take it with you wherever life takes you.

ANTI-FASHION:
“NO” AND BEYOND

The Anti-fashion Movement of 1990 was an explosive reaction to the excess of the past ten years. It showed an uncertain era in which the ideals of beauty, the authenticity of information and fashion itself were questioned.

This project is around a fashion retrospective exhibition called “Anti-Fashion: ‘No’ and Beyond. ” The goal was to develop an identity and visual language that let the general public understand these fashion legends that consistently redefined the aesthetics of our time.

︎︎︎Pattern making broadly describes the process of creating and adapting shapes of garment to translate a two-dimensional design into a three-dimensional form. An appealing way to be anti-fashion is their avant-garde tailoring, so I incorporated this element into the compositions to keep the viewers focused on it.

The overall concept of the book is garment-making. Viewers can treat the whole book as a simulation of making clothes, including various steps. The first step is sizing and measurements, I put a related image on the first spread as the beginning. Then followed by an image about anti-fashion designer did fitting.
