What makes us feel at home? I’ve often wondered whether it is the walls around us, the treasured objects we acquire, or the memories that accumulate over time. Having grown up in multiple cities, I rarely felt at home in one place.
Throughout the beginning of the year, I have explored how the concept of “home” evolves from childhood to adulthood, and how it can transcend physical boundaries to become an emotional and personal experience. I have learned via discussions, polls, and artistic experimentation that home is more than just a geographical location; it’s an emotional experience influenced by our connections, memories, and aspirations. This project asks you to consider your definition of home, how you picture it, and how you take it with you wherever life takes you.
